Alliance at Spey Bay

I played in the North East Alliance on Wednesday 5th March, at the very underrated Spey Bay. This was my first look at the course, and I can't wait to return, as it is an absolute delight.
I was really impressed with the layout, and the greens were excellent for the time of year.This was my first game in 2 weeks, I played quite well, shooting a 4 under par 66, to finish joint 2nd place. The key to any good round of golf, especially on a course you have never seen before, is to make good decisions and put your ball in play off the tee. I did this very well, and also putted quite nicely.
Success in Putting is ALL about controlling the Speed of the putt. You should never think in terms of holing or missing a putt, your focus should be on rolling the ball on the right line at the right speed and let the outcome take care of itself!
