Craibstone AGM

Great turnout for the Craibstone AGM last night.
I gave my report for 2015 and my plans for 2016.
A huge part of my role at Craibstone is to grow the game. The future of our great game lies with the kids!
Every Saturday and Sunday, I deliver a total of 4 ClubGolf classes with a total of 37 kids ranging from 7 years old to 13 years of age.
This year we plan to run a 9 hole junior competition as well as a trip for the kids to Gleneagles.
In my report, I highlighted the need for funding to enable these events to happen.
We will be organising Fund raising events throughout the year. In April, I will again be running the " Craibstone Masters "Par 3 Shootout . All the money raised from this event will go towards the " Race to Gleneagles", ie the trip to Gleneagles, where we will hire a bus to take all the kids down.
This event will be held on Friday 8th April at approx 6 pm.
