Embedded Ball Rule 25-2

Wednesday 10th February 2016

If your ball is embedded in its own pitch mark through the green( anywhere on the golf course  which is on grass cut to fairway height or less, including paths) you are entitled to free relief, ie, free lift and drop!

If your ball is plugged in the rough, or any grass higher than fairway height, you are not entitled to relief, and therefore must play the ball, or under Rule 28 deem your ball unplayable under penalty of 1 shot and lift and drop your ball!

The player is the sole judge as to whether his ball is unplayable or not!
