New Year - New Rules in place

Thursday 7th January 2016

 As of the 1st January 2016, it is now not permissible to anchor the handle of the putter to your body!

Rule 14-1b in the new edition of the Rules of Golf 2016,states " In making a stroke, the player must not anchor the club, either directly or by use of an anchor point"

Note 1 - states however, it is permissable to hold the club or a gripping hand against a hand or forearm!
