Open Qualifier Report

On Monday 25th, I played in the regional qualifier for the Open , playing over the fantastic Panmure Golf Course, next door to Carnoustie.
I Shot a 6 over Par 76,which was 5 shots too many to advance to the Final Stages.
My game was a mixture of good and bad, just a little bit rusty from not playing any competitive golf since October last year.
I would have dearly loved to have teed it up in the Open at my home town of Carnoustie, in 1995 I played in the Scottish Open held at Carnoustie, and the reception I received being announced on the first tee was amazing.
Talking of the Scottish Open, my next game will be the Qualifier for the Scottish Open, on the 7th and 8th of July.
In the meantime, I have spaces available for my upcoming Short Game Masterclass Clinics commencing Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday evenings between 6 and 8pm.
