Scottish PGA Championship Qualifier

Yesterday, I played in the qualifying for this years Scottish Professional Golf Championship. I did what I needed to do , to book myself a place in next months tournament, which is to be played at The Kings Course , Gleneagles from the 3rd to the 6th May.My score of 76, was not a great one, but, I did my job, which was to qualify. When you are not playing at your best, it is so easy to get down on yourself and start forcing things to happen.
The best way to approach an off day, is to keep things very simple. Do not try any risky shots. Focus on Good Tempo and make good decisions. Get the ball in play and enjoy the surroundings. That was very easy for me to do yesterday, as the view from the top of Crieff Golf course is fabulous, it also helped that it was a stunning day with a temperature of 18 degrees!
