17th Green apron extended

One of the tasks we wanted done this winter was to improve the area on the left hand side of the 17th green.
How many times did we see balls landing on the right half and ending up in the bunker, or even how many of you putted into the bunker?
Hopefully now with the changes our team has been working on this week will see this being reduced. We have extended the apron by reducing the bunker size slightly and also allowing us to slightly raise the apron, we shall monitor this during the season and try and keep the grass to a reasonable height and make this more fairer.
