Course Open Today Book Tee Times
Monday 27th July 2020
Conditions werent the best on Saturday and Sunday was lovely for the the first two rounds of the club championship.
After 36 holes the Scratch standings are as follows,
138 - Andrew Ashley, 142 - Andrew Finlay and George Breen, 146 - Alan Bloice and Christopher Polson, 148 - Shaun Rennie and Andrew Carle
After 36 holes the handicap standings are as follows,
134 - Andrew Finlay, George Breen, Stephen Watson and Andrew Ashley, 136 - Derek Cruickshank, Graeme Ferguson and Alan Bloice, 137 - Lee Mathieson, 138 - Christopher Polson and David Adam.
The third round is played this coming Saturday, with the 4th round played on Sunday morning, it may be that we juggle the top 9 scratch and top 9 nett, so that it ends up top 6 scratch and top 9 or 12 handicap so that the contenders can play with each other, bearing in mind that the Scratch Champion cannot also be the Handicap Champion, but this all depends on how moving day Saturday is played out, there are plenty players in contention and it only takes an exceptional round to make a move.
Both days are also still normal medal days with Saturday also an Order of Merit event so players can still play these comps as normal even if not played in the first two rounds.
