Competitions Update 31st August

Congratulations to the teams competing in the members "Summer" Florida Scramble, the wind made conditions tricky and most got round dry.

The 4 man section was won with nett 58.1 - Liam Brown, James McIntosh, Sandy Innes and Paul Reid. in second place were Joe Howell, Wilson Anderson, Ian Burnett and Robert Strachan who scored nett 58.4 and third on 58.5 were Matthew McDonald, David Peters, John Forsyth and William Smith.

The 3 man section was won with nett 60.0 - Kevin Marshall, Eddie Sim and Hugh Eadie and second on 63.6 were Michael Carle, Brian McDonald and Robert Goldie.

A slightly different format today and the consensus was that you had to think and get the strategy right, some good scoring today and well done on all the teams that took part.

With one event to go 3 players are still in contention in the Gross event

49pts - Paul Reid

48pts - John Borthwick

in the Net section PAUL REID is uncatchable sitting on 35pts with a 12pt lead, so congratulations to Paul on winning this Nippon Gases Order of Merit Net Section.

The final round is Saturday 14th September.
