Course Planned Maintenance at 31st Oct

This is the time of the year when our Greenkeeping staff can get onto some of the annual maintenance and planned improvements that we hope to get through over the winter months. Updates will be posted over the next few weeks as we communicate some of the things that we will be tackling.

Hole 1 - we have started on levelling out the back of the medal tee and removing the path to allow this to be done, we also intend removing some of the rough to the right of the main tee as aesthetically it catches your eye as you walk to the tee. 

Hole 2 - we are extending the path back towards the 1st green

Hole 3 - we are removing the thick rough to the left of the ladies tee and intend planting some trees in this area instead. And we are going to be working on cleaning out the ditch that runs between the 3rd and 4th.

We have a lot of tasks planned that will enhance the look of the course and its surroundings, some of this will not affect the playability and many might not notice some of these changes but overall we are looking to improve the look and feel of our course. Am sure everyone is pleased at the way the course has played this year and we wont be affecting any of that. 

One major thing we can announce is that our car park area will be resurfaced, this is planned to be completed by April 2020, but if weather is kind early in 2020 then this could happen before then. Am sure that you will all be pleased to read this as at times the current car park can be muddy or dusty. By doing this work we are also managing to create extra parking spaces so hopefully on a Saturday there wont be the same struggle to find a parking slot.
