Craibstone Golf Academy to be a National Girls Hub

A couple of months Scottish Golf asked who wanted to be involved in growing the golf game for girls, Here at Craibstone we thought that this was a fantastic idea and wanted to be one of the 40 clubs selected. As it turns out Scottish Golf have secured additional funding and have decided that 59 clubs across the whole country have been selected and look forward to working with each one.
What is the Girls Golf Hub
6 weeks fun, inclusive girls-only coaching, open to girls under 18 who are new to the sport and are not part of any existing coaching programme. The aim is to introduce girls to golf in a safe environment with other girls. Research shows us that this is how they want to participate. Ultimately, we hope the girls will use their £20 membership discount voucher to become a junior member of the club to continue with their golfing journey.
We have blocked off 6 weeks from Wednesday 25th March from 5pm-6pm where Lee will be conducting the coaching programme for the girls that sign up to this fantastic programme.
What the Participant Gets for £30
- 6 weeks of coaching at the Hub

Scottish Golf will be promoting this programme through various mediums so please let any girl who may be interested know about this coaching and hopefully we can grow the girls game in this area, and maybe even encourage a few of them into golf membership.
