JCM Stableford Results & Matches Update

On Wednesday night we had the third and final round of the JCM Trophy Stableford with the best two rounds out of three counting.
Congratulations to James McIntosh who put together an excellent round of 40 points to end up on 81 points and win the JCM Trophy by 2 points from Donald Cruickshank, Russell Robertson and our junior member Sandy Innes. Consistent scoring from all.
Thursday was a busy day at the club with our seniors defeating Peterculter by 5 matches to 3. A number of close games with many going down the last.
In early evening the Greensomes team defeated Dunecht House by 4 matches to 1, to record their first victory of the Gordon & District Greensomes League. Derek Cruickshank and Phil McBain won 2 and 1, Sandy Innes and David Allan won 3 and 1, Derek Walker and Lee Mathieson lost by 1 hole, Gary Birnie and Kevin Marshall won their match on the 18th, 1up and Gerald Forbes and Steve Kerr won 6 and 5.
Both visiting clubs were complimentary about the condition of the course and by the standard of hospitality given to them in the Brimmond Bistro.
