Junior Stableford Open Results

Yesterday we had 32 Juniors competing in our Stableford Open. We were extremely pleased to see so many young golfers tackle our course and the scoring was low which showed how much talented golfers turned up. A number of different clubs were represented and the future of North East golf is in safe hands if these lads all continue progressing and working on their game.
We had two divisions and the winners were as follows,
Division 1 (0-10) 1st on 41points was Sandy Innes with local knowledge being his big advantage, 2nd on 39points was Deeside member Callum Bruce and 3rd on 39pts was Royal Aberdeen member Robson Bothwell.
Division 2 (11-28) 1st on 42pts was Darin Bruce from Edzell, 2nd on 40pts was Ross Scott Burns of Portlethen and 3rd was Jack Kidd on 35pts from Murcar Links.
There were three prize holes and the winners of these were,
Longest Drive 4th hole was Rhys Sim of Aboyne, Nearest Pin on 6th hole was Daniel Aitken of Aboyne and 10th hole nearest the pin was Kyle Steel of Murcar Links.
All of the above named players, the winning vouchers will be sent to your home club. Congratulations to each and hopefully everyone who played enjoyed the course and we shall be keen to see you back in future years.
