Ladies Season Opening Scramble
Tuesday 26th March 2019
Twelve of the Craibstone Ladies opened their 2019 season by playing a Texas Scramble and the winning team with a Nett 65 were Debbie Milne, Astrid Roberts and Annie Cameron, in second place on count back with Nett 70 were Liz Knowles, Jorien Terpstra and Sheila Irvine, the other teams scored 70 and 71.
Longest Drives on hole 4 were won by Sheila Irvine (Silver) and Jorien Terpstra (Bronze), nearest the pin on hole 7 was won by Karen Milne (Bronze), with no silver section on the green, Hole 10 nearest the pin was won by Debbie Milne (Silver) and Janice Stewart (Bronze) and longest drive on hole 17 was won by Liz Knowles (Silver) and Jorien Terpstra (Bronze).
A lot of fun was had and the ladies finished their day by having lunch and prizes in the club house. Well done to all who took part and thanks to Annie for ensuring that everything was well organised.
The season is now up and running and already some of the ladies have entered the April Fools Open on Sunday, there are still some spaces available if anyone else wants to enter the Stableford competition that is open to both Ladies and Gents with prize holes on offer for both sections.
