Lifetime membership 2020

On Friday afternoon we invited George Gordon and James Geddie along to enjoy coffee and home baked cake before we presented our two octogenarian members with their lifetime honorary membership certificates. Both gentleman have served the club well over the years therefore Charles and Agnes Marshall decided that for their outstanding service that they should be awarded this prestigious award.
Hopefully both will still enjoy a round of golf whenever they feel like it when the weather improves. Both lads have supported the seniors section admirably over the years with Jim serving as treasurer for a number of years turning up every Monday and making sure everyone paid their weekly dues, whilst George was instrumental in organising many of our Burns Night celebrations over the years as well as being a regular attendee at the various Bistro functions.
We congratulate both on their honorary membership and thank them for supporting the club.
