Members Opening Day Texas Scramble

Firstly, thank you to all the members who came out on Saturday and played in the Opening Day Texas Scramble, it was really uplifting seeing a great attendance and how everyone embraced the social distancing and made sure that the procedures we put in place with no exchange of cards, no touching pins etc, and limiting to 2 persons into the shop was strictly adhered. 

Our takeaway service was well used so again thank you for supporting your club in these unusual circumstances.

In the 4man team event - the winning team of Jamie Evans, Ian Still, John Borthwick and Ken Cocker burst into life after the 6th hole birdieing 11 out of the remaining 12 holes to finish with a gross 55 and a net 52.6 - great shooting.

Second equal on 54.8 nett were the teams of Paul Hunter/Mark Cross/Mark Mundie/Martin Macintosh and Alan Bloice/Graeme Carle/Stuart Gerrie/Andrew Carle

We had a number of 3 man teams also, with the winning score of 56.7 nett being recorded by Kristofer Dow, Jamie Ross and Layton Lewis, In second place on 58.1 were Liam Brown, Ross Salmon and Sandy Innes and in equal 3rd were Mark McCann/ Graham Wright/Keith Reid and Andrew Finlay/Paul Reid/Michael Dalgarno on 58.9

All scores have been posted to howdidido, but we also had one or two teams that wont be on there due to a few players not being on the system yet - the full score sheets are in the office as these teams had their scores manually calculated.
