Sunday 17th January Competition will be 16 holes winter greens

Today we had about 60 players out on the shortened 9 hole winter course and we know conditions were wet, but I thank every player for their attitude and willingness to accept that the course was touch and go condition wise, but they were just happy to get a swing and have some fresh air and exercise. So well done to you all - some good scores were posted, and some not so good.
Tomorrow we will have 16 holes open (holes 12 and 13 will be closed due to ice) and the competition will count towards the winter eclectic - even though Winter Greens will be operational. Please take care on some of the paths as they are still frozen solid.
Pictures show the 12th winter green - and also why we are not on summer greens with the images of 15 and 17 showing that it will be some time before they can be opened again.
Because of the wet conditions on a number of the fairways, NO BUGGIES will be allowed and that unfortunately includes those that require them for medical exemption, they will just slip and slid and dig up the course.
