Team Matches Update for week ending 21st July

On thursday, our Seniors team travelled to Peterculter with a reduced squad of 12 players. A changeable day with heavy rain and flooding on the greens giving way to sunshine for most of the round.
Craibstone went down 5.5pts to 1.5pts.
Our seniors have been struggling recently to get enough players to play in these inter club friendly matches, so any member over the age of 55, that maybe wants to get involved, then why not come along on a Monday morning and join in with the seniors competitions. There are two start times, the first tees off at 8am and the second around 8.45am. You turn up and the scorecards are picked so you play with different members every week. Any member can get involved, only criteria is 55 and over.
Also on thursday our greensomes team travelled away to Kintore and with four close games, and one heavy defeat the Craibstone team went down 3.5pts to 1.5pts. The course was in great condition but our squad just couldnt quite get enough momentum to edge ahead. It now comes down to the remaining two fixtures, one at home and one away to see if two more victories will be enough to qualify for the semi-finals.
