Arnold Palmer- we will not see his like again!

Monday 26th September 2016

So sorry to hear Arnold Palmer "The King" has passed away.

I was very lucky to meet Mr Palmer, and yes, he was a true gentleman, very humble and real class.

His legacy will last for as long as this great game we all love continues to be played!

His father taught him to always look someone in the eye when you speak and always take the time to sign autographs, Mr Palmer would spend as long as it takes to make sure everyone got an autograph!

The day I met him, he was playing alongside his grandson, who was going to play an iron off the tee, where everyone else were hitting drivers! Upon asking his grandson why he wasn't hitting his driver? The reply was, "I hit my driver  here yesterday, and it was a poor shot! Arnold replied, " I don't care what you did yesterday, get your driver out and hit it hard"

Mr Palmer was a no - nonsense guy, who stood up and smashed it and kept looking forward!

Thank you for showing the world how to Act!

Rest in Peace!
