Ben at Scottish Open

 Congratulations to Ben on his recent victory in the Scottish Open Pro-Am playing alongside the winner of the Scottish Open , Rafael Cabrera Bello, and 2 other Scottish Golf Academy players.

Ben and his fellow Scottish Golf Development Academy players were chosen to play in this years Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open Pro-Am alongside Ryder Cup Player Rafael Cabrera Bello, what a fantastic opportunity for all these young golfers and to go on and win the Pro-Am was a dream come true, and then to see Rafael go on and win the Scottish Open is just amazing.

Rafael was a true gentleman, offering tips and advice all the way round, he made them all feel special and put them all at ease with his relaxed fun loving nature, what a great ambassador for the game, and an example for all our young players to follow.

Ben enrolled in the Scottish Golf Development Winter training programme, which I delivered over 17 weeks from September 2016 thru April 2017.

Ben has a great attitude and work ethic and has seen his handicap steadily fall this year, adhering to the Development Plan that we implemented for Ben to achieve his goals for 2017.

Ben has taken advantage of  our state of the art Craibstone Golf Academy, checking all his carry and total distances with our Trackman Gapping Session and establishing a playing mindset using our E6 Indoor Golf Simulator.
