Continued success for Craibstone Golf Club Juniors

The Craibstone Golf Academy is thrilled to announce that 2 of our Junior Members, won their respective Age group in the Paul Lawrie Flag competition on Sunday 2nd September, at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre.
Mika Askildsen won the Under 15’s ( for the 2nd time this season) and 7 year old Mitchell
Sinclair won the Under 10’s Section.
Fantastic result, and well done boys for all the hard work and effort you put in.
On Friday night, I held an On course Rules of Golf and Course Management Session.
I played holes 1 to 3, with some pointers on club selection, controlling ball flight in to the wind, short game pointers as well as some of the amendments to the rules which will be in play from 1st January 2019, including the New Out of Bounds rule, searching for a ball time limit reduced to 5 minutes , Putting with the flagstick in, how to drop the ball from the new knee height as well as how you can actually get 4 club lengths of relief.
