Craibstone Clubgolf Trip to St.Andrews

Monday 26th June 2017

Yesterday we took a group of 28 of our Craibstone Clubgolf Juniors to St.Andrews for our 2nd Annual Texas Scramble tournament on the 9 hole Balgove Course.

We had an amazing day, with the winning team of Nathan Bloice, Rebecca Sinclair, Ryan Murray and Rio Greig scoring 31, winning by 1 shot, and with only 3 shots separating all 7 teams , the standard of play was amazing in quite windy and wet conditions.

Nathan Bloice won the long drive competition, with a huge hit of some 280 yards on the 6th hole, and Dougal Finlay won nearest the pin on the 9th, with a fantastic shot to 6 feet, then calmly knocked it in for a birdie.

Lucy Moir won the best Attitude/ etiquette award, very well done to Lucy, who is only 8 years old, has a fabulous swing and showed amazing Grit and focus, especially as they were the last group out, in the worst of the weather.
