Craibstone Super 6’s Team Play at Peterculter
Monday 1st July 2019
On Sunday 30th June, 6 juniors from the Craibstone Golf Academy took part in the Super 6’s event at Peterculter Golf Club. In this the 2nd event of 5, the kids play in teams of 2 in a Texas Scramble format aimed at juniors who are just beginning to get out on course.
The philosophy is to create a Fun environment and help encourage our young players to fall in love with golf.
Craibstone, along with teams from Westhill, Stonehaven, Peterculter and Portlethen have all signed up for this Scottish Golf initiative for the Aberdeenshire area.
Our next game is on Sunday 7th July at Stonehaven Golf Club , with the final game being played at Craibstone on Sunday 16th August where the first 7 holes will be closed from 2.30pm.
Summer Camps
During the summer holidays, I am running 2 week long camps for kids aged 7-15.
Each day we will focus on different skills from Putting, Chipping and Pitching to Long Game Development as well as Games and Physicsl activity as well as On- Course Play.
Week 1- July 15th - 18th
Week 2- August 6th - 9th
Time - 9am - 1pm
