European boys team championships

The European Boys Team championships gets under way this week at Murcar Gllf Club. The best young players from all over Europe will be on display. Let's get behind our boys and cheer them on to a win on home soil , what a result that would be after Andy Murray's historic victory at Wimbledon. In 1984 I captained the Scottish Team to victory in the European Boy's Teams played at Royal St. George's. We played England in the final, I managed to hole a 10 footer on the last green to beat Peter Baker, who went on to become a Ryder Cup Star. Get down to Murcar this week and you will see the next generation of Ryder Cuppers and potential Major winners. Well done again to Andy Murray , and all the best to our Boys this week at Murcar!
