Quiz Night at Craibstone Golf Club

Sunday 12th May 2019

On Friday 10th May, we held our 4th annual Quiz Night, raising money for our juniors trip to St.Andrews.

Sandy Greig( Quiz Master) ran a fantastic quiz, as always, with the help of his son Eden. 

We had 10 teams taking part, testing their mental strength over 10 rounds , with a halfway break for a meal served by Tomaz and his staff.

The team of Simon Downing, Gordon McCaw, Marc Rostant and Ross McCarthy showed their knowledge by winning for the 3rd time in 4 starts. Congratulations guys.

I would like to thank all the teams for taking part, especially all the parents of our juniors who made a massive effort to donate raffle prizes and make fantastic home bakes, all in we were able to raise over £600.00 on the night. This will go a long way to helping us reach our target of £1200.00 to take all the juniors down to St.Andrews for a Texas Scramble team event.

Every Saturday and Sunday, I deliver coaching sessions for our junior programme to over 30 kids. The number of juniors is growing and I am looking for volunteers to help out alongside Jim Martin our Clubgolf Level 1 Coach.

We will be organising a car wash soon at the golf club with our juniors and parents to help reach our target and help make great memories for our junior golfers .
