Senior Section Updtes
Wednesday 30th May 2018
From 8th to 10th May a group of twenty-seven Seniors participated in a three day stableford competition at the Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth, Playing the championship course twice and the new course once.
Winner was Norman Glass with a total of 91 points.
2nd was Peter Low with a total of 88 points.
3rd was David Beattie with a total of 86 points.
Special mention goes to George Gordon who had a total of 32points on day two of the competition, not bad for one of our elder statesmen. Just goes to show what you can do when you hit the ball straight down the fairway.
This outing continues to impress, with our close association with Moray Golf Club and the Stotfield Hotel, a great time had by all.
On Thursday 24th May, Craibstone Seniors played Torphins Seniors in a friendly match. Craibstone winning by 4.5points to 1.5points. Matches played in good spirit on an excellent day for golf.
Torphins congratulated Craibstone on condition of the course, and were particularly impressed with the catering before and after the golf. So well done to all.
