Who will be crowned the Champion Golfer of the Year.

Wednesday 18th July 2018

With just one more day before Play gets under way in the 147th playing of the Open Championship at Carnoustie, who will be crowned the Champion Golfer of the Year.

One thing is for sure, the winner will display great calm under pressure, especially, as the last 4holes at Carnoustie are amongst the hardest finishing holes of any course in the world, and to play these holes in level par , if required to win the Open, will be a very stern task indeed.

With conditions  very hard and bouncy, requires the player to use their imagination and land the ball up to 50yards short of the green and run the ball up to the pin, this kind of golf favours the Shotmakers, don’t be surprised if Tiger is left holding the claret jug on Sunday night.

As with any Major championship, the one who chips and putts well, will be the victor.
